Creative Coaching

Within each person is the ability to create in some form. Through coaching sessions, together, we will unlock your creative potential and help you tune into your purpose. Healing accompanies such a journey. You will learn to let go of the external voices and tune into your heart. Sessions are $50 a hour. Held every other week, with a minimum commitment of 3 months. Fabric Design

Coming soon is a new collection of fabric! It will be printed and manufactured through Windham Fabrics and is perhaps the happiest collection to date. It will be sold in quilt shops and online throughout the globe. This will be my 11th collection, in 11 years.

Commission Work

Painting is my favorite work to take on as commissions. Over the last 20 years I have painted Healing Trees, Guardian Angels, Pet Portraits, Abstract Movement, and so much more for others. If interested, please email me at mmcollins.art@gmail.com for more information.

Memory Bears and Pillows

Sewing a memory bear or pillow for those who have lost a loved one is a passion of mine born out of a season of multiple losses. Each item is $49. The process is simple, purchase bear/pillow at my etsy store and send or drop off one article of clothing per bear (and 1-2 per pillow). Depending on the current work flow, it will take 2-4 weeks. Bears/pillows can be picked up or shipped.

Travel and Teach

Melissa is available to travel (or meet online) to your local quilt shop, sewing guild, or creative retreat. She is skilled in teaching a variety of art quilting techniques, such as appliqué, free motion quilting, and improve sewing. Also available are art making techniques that apply to both fabric and canvas. Her methods are fun and relaxing. Everyone can learn to successfully create.

Classes

All classes are currently held locally at my home studio. The cost for individual classes is $35 for one hour and $50 for two hours. A variety of topics are available to experience from painting and drawing to sewing garments or quilts. Online workshops are in the works and available per request.

Upcoming Events

Artist Retreat at Windy Goat Acres tentatively scheduled for October 1-3 Enjoy time away art making and soothing your nervous system. We will be camping in a beautiful yurt and enjoy the wonderful animals that reside at the farm. Price is $295 for a three day/two night retreat.
